If you have a feature you would like added to Investor/RT in a timely fashion, you may want to consider making use of Linn Software's custom development service.  While all development requests are taken into careful consideration and many enhancements with wide appeal are being added with every new release, our custom development service is a way of elevating the priority of an enhancement, or funding the addition of an enhancement or indicator that might otherwise not be done at all due to lack of widespread interest.  Some custom development requests may include:

• Adding a built-in or plug-in (proprietary) technical indicators.

• Adding new options or functionality to existing charts, indicators, quotepages, or other objects, to suit your needs.

• Implementing trading signals and trading systems to replicate your trading methodology.

• Customizing the importing or exporting of data or trading signals to allow Investor/RT to communicate or interface with external data sources or brokerages.

Custom programming services are billed at a rate of $100 per hour (excluding proprietary development - see below).  The enhancements/indicators become part of the Investor/RT system and are made available in the next public release of the software. Development services for proprietary (exclusive) technical indicator and trading signal plug-ins are also available at a higher hourly rate.

Linn Software reserves the right to decline any custom development requests based on time constraints and developer availability.  Most custom programming requests will be honored in a timely fashion provided the development time needed is not excessive.  The average development time needed to add a new technical indicator, for instance, would be approximately 3 hours.  Linn Software releases a new version of Investor/RT every two to four weeks, and custom programming requests are generally implemented within a few days of being submitted.

Propriety custom development is also available at a premium of $150 per hour.  Propriety development involves the development of plug-in indicators for which the you would have sole ownership and distribution rights.
