Answers to Common Questions

Question

What's the best way to search through the entire Q&A section for specific keywords?

Answer

Open the main Q&A page which contains the complete list of answers.  In order to search this page, hit "Ctrl-F" on the keyboard or "Edit: Search" from the menu.  A "Find" window should popup allowing you to type in your keyword(s) and then hit "Enter" to find that keyword.  If the keyword combination is found, the page should scroll according and highlight the keyword(s).  If the question which contains the keyword is not relevant, continue to hit "Enter" to continue your search down the page.  At any time you can hit the "Esc" key to dismiss the "Find" window.  Once you've found the question you're after, click the "Answer" link that corresponds with the question.

Be smart about your selection of keywords.  For instance, if want to know how to put a 5-minute stochastics indicator on a 1-minute chart, don't use specific keywords like "5-minute", "1-minute", or "stochastics".  Use more general keywords like "periodicity", "mix", "multiple", "multiple periodicities", or "mixed periodicities".
