Investor/RT Getting Started Guide
The Investor/RT Getting Started Guide is a great resource for the new
Investor/RT user. This guide will provide you with a brief overview of the windows
you will encounter in the program, along with step-by-step instructions for:
- Setting up each type of window
- Registering the software
- Setting up your data feed
- Troubleshooting tips for each data service.

Investor/RT Concepts and Facilities
Guide
The Concepts and Facilities Guide first provides a general overview of Investor/RT,
defining key concepts and introducing the user to the kinds of window objects that
Investor/RT uses to track the markets. Then, a detailed description of each window object
type is provided (charts, portfolios, quote pages, ticker tapes, news browsers, etc.).
While the online help documentation built into Investor/RT is designed to provide
on-the-spot assistance while using the product, the User Guide will help the new user of
Investor/RT gain an understanding of the overall organization of the software and how the
various components of the software work together to accomplish particular tasks. This
document is new and should be consider a "draft". We encourage and welcome your
feedback on the User Guide. Please e-mail comments and suggestions for improving the guide

Investor/RT What's New Reference
We have prepared a new document called the What's New Reference. This
Adobe Acrobat Reader (PDF) file is a compendium of all of the What's New
help topics. The document is at this time more than 300 pages long. It has
a detailed, searchable table of contents. Clicking on a table of contents
entry takes you directly to the text of the corresponding item. Further,
the entire document is searchable by keyword or phrase. It is an excellent
way to look up a description of some feature and all of the enhancements
made to that feature in ensuing releases of Investor/RT. The document can
be downloaded from www.linnsoft.com\dl. Scroll down to the bottom of the
Quick Download Center web page and click to download the Windows (.zip) or
Macintosh (.hqx) file. This document will be updated periodically as new
releases of Investor/RT are issued on an ongoing basis. Please e-mail comments and suggestions for improving the
reference to support@linnsoft.com
