All Macintosh DTN users use DTN.IQ. IQFEED
is not supported on the Macintosh platform.
We recommend all Windows users configure Investor/RT for
IQFEED
There are several advantages to using IQFEED. Investor/RT can run
simultaneously with other Windows applications, all utilizing IQFEED
streaming data. IQFEED customer support is better able to provide
support on any data feed issues you may have when you use their standard
client software. Recent improvements made to Investor/RT in support of
historical data downloading using multiple threads apply to both IQFEED
and the Legacy DTN.IQ methods. Investor/RT for IQFEED does not yet
support Level II displays and News capture. These will be added in a
future release but for now, these features are present only in the
DTN.IQ Legacy method. Again, Windows users will need the
DTN
IQFEED client installed in
order to run Investor/RT with IQFEED. To download and install this
client, click
here. It's easy to identify whether your using
DTN.iq or IQFEED by looking at the menu choice between "Windows" and
"Help" in your main Investor/RT menu. To reconfigure from DTN.iq
to IQFEED, choose "File: Reconfigure" from the main menu, then select
the "DTN-IQFEED" option and press "Reconfigure". Please install
the
IQFEED client before reconfiguring. Investor/RT
registration codes for DTN.iq and IQFEED are interchangeable (same code
will work with either). More on
