First, add the second symbol to the chart. Right-click in
the chart and choose "Add/Delete/Edit : Add Instrument" (alternatively,
you can hit Shift-Insert from the keyboard, or click the top left button
on the chart toolbar). The Add Instrument should appears.
Select the symbol you wish to add from the list on the left. At
the bottom left of the window, select the pane you would like to add
this symbol to (generally pane 1 which already contains the other
symbol). Now click the OK button.
If your two symbols don't scale within the same range, and they probably
don't, you'll need to turn on multi-scaling. To do so,
double-click in the scale to the right of the pane and check "Use
multiple scales as required" and click OK. Both symbols should now
scale to the maximum height of the pane. You can toggle between
scales by ctrl-clicking inside the scale to the right of the pane.
You can repeat this process if you want to chart 3 or more symbols in
the same pane.
At this point, whenever you add an indicator to this chart, you can
choose which symbol/instrument you're associating the indicator with in
the lower left corner of the Add Indicator window. |
