Answers to Common Questions

Question

How do I globally change the formats for my existing quotepages to my desired format?  Using "Setup: Preferences/Quotepages" does not allow me to change formats globally.

Answer

Quotepage Format is not one of the preferences that can be applied globally to all quotepages via the Setup: Preferences: Quotepage window. The reason being that we felt it unlikely that a user would want the same format for every one of his quotepages. Only "colors, gridlines, and other simple appearance settings" can be applied globally in this way.

Each quotepage can be explicitly set to any defined format using the button in the upper right corner of the quotepage, just above the vertical scrollbar. Choose "Change Format" from the popup menu. You can also, right-click in any quotepage column heading cell to get a popup menu that includes the "Change Format" command near the bottom of the menu. You can also right-click in any "gray area" of the quotepage to get the popup menu; the gray area includes the small rectangular areas to the left and right of the horizontal scrollbar at the bottom of the quotepage.
