Question

My time zone has shifted to Daylight Savings Time one week prior to the U.S..  What should I do?

Answer

This week the U.S. is not yet on Day Light Savings time. Our clients in time zones GMT and GMT+1 are on Daylight Saving Time. This phenomenon occurs every year about this time for one week.

Users in time zone GMT or GMT+1 must temporary adjust their "time zone"
setting in Setup: Preferences: Sessions. If you are in GMT then set your time zone to GMT+1. If you are in GMT+1, set it to GMT+2. IRT will ask if you wish to adjust all session times. YOU MUST REPLY "NO".

When the U.S. goes on Daylight Savings Time the following Sunday, you must set the time zone setting back the way it was, again replying NO when asked about adjusting session times.

If you follow US listed instruments, then you will also have to adjust your US Stocks session start and stop time temporarily to start and stop one hour later than normally. Set these back again when the U.S. goes on daylight saving time.
