Answers to Common Questions

Question

How do I get my questions answered quickly with out waiting for Support to respond?  For example I need to know how to combine multiple charts like a 5 minute, a 15 minute, and a 65 minute and quickly change the symbol on all 3 charts by clicking on a symbol on my quote page.

Answer

There is a document that is available called the Comprehensive What’s New document located on our web site. This reference document is updated frequently. The latest one can be downloaded from our Quick Download page (www.linnsoft.com/dl) using the link at the bottom of that page.

Here is the direct link: http://www.linnsoft.com/new/whatsnew.pdf.zip

Using Acrobat’s powerful search feature, lookup references to the word for example “multi-link”. You’ll find dozens are paragraphs on this subject. Note that this document shows the most recently added features at the top, going backwards in time. Thus the references to “multi-link” that you see will begin with the most recent enhancements. If you scroll down to the last mention of multi-linking you’ll find the original May 1999 paragraph introducing this feature of Investor/RT.

Keep this PDF file handy. You will find it to be a very useful reference.
