Changing One or Both Multipliers
If you need to change one or both multipliers of your pair, this is
a relatively easy process. Just right-click on the pair in a
quotepage and choose "Setup". The Custom Instrument Setup window
will appear with that pair filled in. In the large box on the
right of the window, you'll see your two components along with their
multipliers. From that list, select the component that you'd like
to change, then type the new multiplier into the "Multiplier.." box in
the middle of the window, then click "Modify". Then click "Save
and Close" and the bottom, and choose "Replace" in the popup window that
comes up. That should do it.Change One or Both Components
Change the Order of Components
To accomplish either of these, it's best to just delete the
pair/custom instrument and recreate it.
First, in a quotepage, select the pair and then click the red trash
can icon on the quotepage toolbar to remove this pair from your system.
If you have components from the old pair that will no longer be needed
(in other pairs, etc.), do the same for those components, selecting them
and using the red trash can icon to remove them. (red trash can removes
from entire IRT system while green trash can just removes from that
quotepage). That takes care of the removal step.
Now, we must recreate our new pair. First, if the new pair
requires new components that don't already exist in your system, add
them to the appropriate quotepage by going to that quotepage, hitting
the Insert key to create a new row, then typing in the ticker symbol of
that component, and hitting Enter. Now, make sure the quotepage to
which you want to add the new pair is the frontmost window (just click
on it to make it so). Now, from the menu, choose "Setup: Pair
Wizard..". Fill in the proper multipliers (a & b) and components
(X & Y). Check the "Add Pair to Quotepage" checkbox. Now
click "Save and Close". (or just "Save" if you have another pair
you need to add). The new pair should now exist in your frontmost
quotepage. |
