This page has been created to guide users interested in trading pairs using Woodie's methods through the process of setting of Investor/RT for that purpose.  The video below will help demonstrate the process and help make setup much quicker and easier.  If you have not yet installed and licensed Investor/RT, please visit the Getting Started page and watch the video at the top of that page.

Once you're setup with Investor/RT, watch the Woodie's Setup Video  for guidance in setting up I/RT for Woodie's pairs trading.  It covers the process of importing Woodie's layout (charts and symbols) which makes the setup very quick and easy.

The layout below contains Woodie's stocks and pairs symbols, quotepages, and charts.

Woodie's Layout

To import the Woodie's layout into Investor/RT, follow these steps.

  1. Click on the link above for the layout (a page of random text will appear)
  2. From the browser menu, choose "Edit: Select All" (or Ctrl-A) to select all text on the page.
  3. From the browser menu, choose "Edit: Copy" (or Ctrl-C) to copy that text to your clipboard.
  4. Switch over to Investor/RT, and choose "File: Import: Definition From Clipboard" from the menu, and the layout should import.  Choose "Replace".
