CQG Market Access

To enable your Investor/RT for use with CQG Continuum, a 15 $/month platform technology fee (waived for Investor/RT trial users) is required. Add the "CQG Market Access" option to your license subscription and then review and sign the CQG End User License Agreement beforehand. Please note that this “Market Access” fee, collected by CQG from third party providers not using their native applications, doesn’t grant you access to any market data (as you always need to subscribe to the various CME or EUREX exchange data fees through your brokerage firm).

Supported Clearing and Brokerage Firms

Investor/RT supports CQG Continuum market data and execution services for clients from brokerage firms using one of the following FCMs: ADM Investor Services, Advantage Futures, AMP Global Clearing, Dorman Trading, Ninjatrader Clearing, Phillip Capital and Plus500. Supported brokerages include AMP Futures, EdgeClear, NinjaTrader Brokerage and more generally any brokerage firm offering a CQG account held by one of the above FCMs (If your FCM is not yet supported, please contact Linn Software to register your interest.)

Investor/RT also supports brokerage firms (such as CannonTrading or Stage5Trading) that offer the new StoneX futures demo and live accounts.

Testing CQG data and order execution services

If you already have a live CQG trading account, you may test or use it with Investor/RT (after contacting your broker to ensure your existing CQG credentials are enabled "for LinnSoft-Investor/RT"). Current Investor/RT subscribers who wish to try the CQG Continuum connectivity using a demonstration account with simulated trading can sign-up for a free 14-day CQG demo account. However, please note that we always recommend signing up for a CQG demo account directly with your brokerage firm (or the one you intend to join) so that you can test Investor/RT in the same configuration as the one you will be using on a recurrent basis.

Remarks:

  • StoneX: after the termination of the GAIN datafeed in H1 2025, Investor/RT introduced support for the new future accounts relying on the new StoneX datafeed (powered by CQG).
  • Tradovate: so far, legacy Tradovate customers, who were holding a real money account powered by CQG Continuum, are still able to use Investor/RT. However, we do not support any of the Tradovate paper accounts offered by Prop firms. Please check our prop firm support page for more information on this subject.
