bands

Again..am a newbie (still!) but I love IRT and all the things that it can do. Was trying to figure out something
simple : how to draw a box inside a bar that shows the value area. I'm familiar on how to add in VAH, VAL and POC
but what I'm looking for is a box drawn around a bar indicating the VAH and VAL...which will then encompass the
POC....would also like to extend naked lines on this….

Having to shift between charts in order to see higher time frames can be bothersome. This is why I have bands set up to show me e.g. last weeks range (see attachment). The problem is that the bands won't tell me last weeks open and close and also they say nothing about the direction of last week. An easy solution would be to have them displayed as candlesticks, colored by CL>OP or CL

Chad's idea of using this indicator in its steps mode to "divvy" up the day's likely range into segments is quite useful but the problem I find with it is the presentation of the lines cannot really be customised and you can end up with a plethora of lines all over your chart that extend back many days.

I think it would be really useful and visually cleaner to have an option to limit the lines to the current day (or session) and perhaps have the lines as compact lines only appearing in the right hand margin or even having no lines and just having labels on the price axis.

Both the gap bands, and a solid dark blue line are available.  The dark blue line shows only the extreme price of the band, where price must move to fill the gap.
