The trading notes object is designed as a notepad for recording notes associated with particular instruments. At the top of the trading notes window is a standard instrument selector. When an instrument is selected, its trading notes are listed in the center portion of the window.

Each trading note has a date time stamp and is limited to 256 characters of text. Selecting a note brings the note into the area at the bottom of the window for viewing and/or editing. Access to the trading notes for a particular instrument is provided from other types of objects such as the quote page, quick quote, and portfolio objects.
