I have both Investor R/T and Bookmap. Would this still import into bookmap cloud notes if I use CQG data for Investor R/T and Bookmap data for bookmap?
Mixed data feed setup (CQG into I/RT / Bookmap Data in BM)
Hi Keith,
yes, this is fully possible. One could use IQ feed, Rithmic or CQG to generate the cloud notes level Tom B is using, whatever the data feed being used in Bookmap on the bookmap side. There is, of course, one minor adjustment to be done in the first column "input" csv file used (in the Exportdata indicator), which has to match the future symbol name used in the Bookmap cloud notes files (and that follows Bookmap symbology)
In this main support page, we provided the structure of the I/RT csv input file when a user is feeding both Investor/RT and Bookmap with the same Rithmic data feed, and this looked like that
In that case, we used the dynamic %TICKER token to recover the "ESZ5" string (which is the ES future symbol used by I/RT when the datafeed is Rithmic ) so that we can automatically generate the Rithmic symbol used in Bookmap (ESZ5.CME@RITHMIC)
In your case, you will generate the level by having an I/RT chart setup with the CQG symbol for ES (EPZ25)
so you just need to modify the structure of the Input csv file (used in the exportdata indicator) so that it matches the bookmap data symbol for ES, ie ESZ5.CME@BMD
Hi Eddy,
I have been having an issue with sending Tom B levels to my bookmap. I decided to keep it simple and have Investor rt and bookmap both run on Rithmic since I am not too computer savvy. Please correct me if I'm wrong but in the forum we don't have to follow the youtube video on post #2 because post #11 guides us through the process much easier. I followed the instructions in post #11 exactly and keep coming up with this issue. I have attached the screenshot of what keeps coming up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I am showing the following screenshot with an example of the input and output files for the exportdata RTX file name that were, by definition, only valid for my own PC, i.e. my username is EddyF and I stored the Input_ES.csv (that can be downloaded here) on the "ED" sub-directory of Documents (and i also selected that same directory for the output file that will be automatically generated by I/RT and used as cloudnotes for Bookmap)
On your side, you need to adjust the "C:\Users\EddyF\Documents\ED" directory address accordingly in both I/RT exportdata RTX settings and BM cloudnotes configuration box. Assuming your username is KeithM and that you have created an "IRTCloudNotes" directory for storing the Input_ES.csv file in my documents, the correct file location will be C:\Users\KeithM\Documents\IRTCloudNotes\Input_ES.csv
