Chart levels

Hi

I have the following questions:

1) how can i go back to a specific date quickly, is there a "Go to" function? Example I want to go to the 12th of Dec.
2) how can i see the High and Low of a candle
3) how can i create a customised opening session, example I want the EURO session to start at 7:30 AM

Regards

Scroll Chart Button

You can create a "Scroll Chart" button and scroll to that date (that date/time will be right edge of the chart) by clicking the button.  In chart below, I set the date/time to 12/12/17 16:15 and when I click then button, the chart scrolls so that the bar with timestamp 12/12/17 16:15 is the rightmost bar in the visible area.  You can then click the end button to scroll back to present.  Home button scrolls back to the start of the chart.  Left and right arrows on keyboard scroll chart forward/backwards 1 bar at a time.  Shift+left/right arrows scroll one full page left/right at a time.  Ctrl-left/right arrows scroll left/right 5 bars at a time.

High/Low of Candle as Text

If your Pane Title is on for the main pane, it should show the High and Low.  Right-click in pane and "Show > Pane Title" to toggle Pane Title on/off.

But you may not see it depending on how many elements are in the pane and the order of those elements...so, some other solutions for you.

The Info Box is custom made for this.  See below.  And you can choose to show the Indicators in the Pane as well, or you can turn those off by choosing "No Indicators".

And last, if you want to persistently see the high and low as text, there are a variety of options for that as well.  In the chart below, I simply added Custom Indicators of HI and LO and added them to chart, and set them up to label their value.  But even something like the VolumeScope indicator has an option to title each bar with the High or Volume of bar.  I could add option for Low there as well easy enough.  And you can even use Bar Statistics to print the high and low as text at bottom of chart (also demonstrated below).  If the Bar Stats option interests you, watch this video: https://www.linnsoft.com/videos/bar-statistics-custom-data

Here is the chart definition: https://www.linnsoft.com/charts/scrollchart-es

I hope one of these solutions fits your needs.

Chart Hours - Sessions

Each symbol has both a day session and a full session that you can customize.  And you can create other sessions (that are subsets of the full session) and easily change the session of the chart to that session.  Watch this video for a complete explanation of Session and Charting Hours in Investor/RT: https://www.linnsoft.com/videos/chart-hours-overview-day-and-full-session-times

Chad - I see that the scroll

Chad - I see that the scroll feature has the option of scrolling one day right or left. This is very useful.
Is it possible to have the chart candles scaled to be visible on the chart each time the day is scrolled?

Thanks.

Auto-Scrolling

As long as the pane is set to Auto-Scrolling or Instrument Only scaling, the scaling will be automated no matter how you scroll.
