When using chart wizard to create a chart there is a option to add different chart buttons in the wizard.
Is it possible to configure the settings for those chart buttons?
For example every time I create a chart from the wizard with the "change session" button checked, it creates a button with session 0, 1 & 31.
I would like that button to have a custom menu of sessions. Instead of editing it every time.
You can create your own "default/template" chart which has all the basic elements you want in every chart you create.....including the buttons, button settings, colors, right margin, other indicators... Save that chart with a name like "myDefaultChart". Then in the Chart Wizard, choose a Chart Type of "Existing Chart" and then select your default chart name from the list of charts on the right (as seen below). Type in your desired instrument, and click OK to create your chart. It will create an untitled version of your default chart with your desired instrument. You can continue refining your default chart as you see fit moving forward (adding buttons, changing colors, adding indicators, etc). And next time you open the Chart Wizard, it will retain all these settings. Let me know how that solution works for you.
