RTX Extension

Sine Wave (RTX)

The SineWave RTX extension is the RTX implementation of the Ehlers Sine Wave indicator. See Cybernetic Analysis for Stocks and Futures by John Ehlers. Two forms of the indicator are supported, known as the CyberneticsAnalysis and RocketScience method, selectable as a user preference.

BuySellMeter (RTX)

The BuySellMeter extension displays the buying volume versus the selling volume for a user-specified period of time expressed as a number of days or number of bars.  Buying volume is defined as volume that traded at the ask/offer price; selling volume is defined as volume traded at the bid price.  BuySellMeter provides a nice visual of these two volume metrics in a compact box that may be positioned anywhere in the chart.  The horizontal and vertical position of the box (in pixels from top left) may be entered in the indicator preferences, or you can drag and drop the box using the mouse. The position can be fine tuned by clicking inside the box to select it and then using the keyboard arrow keys.

PaintIndicator (RTX)

The PaintIndicator RTX extension allows users to paint any indicator based on a variety of conditions and draw using some new and unique drawing styles. Up to 6 painting conditions may be specified with each condition giving options to paint based on an indicators value relative to a constant number, an indicators value relative to another indicator, or based on a signal being true. Any custom indicator can be used as the basis for the PaintIndicator. The PaintIndicator has it's own base color which will be used when none of the paint conditions apply.

ScatterPlot (RTX)

ScatterPlot takes two custom indicators and plots one on the horizontal (X Axis) and one on the vertical (Y Axis) and then computes a best fit polynomial regression line through the data of user-specified degree. Any two custom indicators may be used for the data set of this analysis. Each data point represents the values of the two custom indicators on any given bar. Each bar is drawn as a point/dot in the scatter plot. For example, the indicator can plot the daily volume versus the daily range in price.

HolidayTree (RTX)

Got your tree up yet?

You stare at your charts all day. Why not spruce them up with a little holiday cheer? Introducing Holiday Tree (RTX), a whimsical indicator written with RTX that adorns any chart with a holiday tree, complete with twinkling lights, ornaments, garland, holiday countdown, customizable sizes and colors.

Volume Candles (RTX)

Volume Candles draws a candle, volume profile, and volume as text, for each bar, making efficient use of the horizontal space available for each bar.  It is recommended to set the drawing style of the instrument to "Invisible" and then add the VolumeCandles to the instrument pane to replace the bars.  Each of the 3 elements is optional, giving users the ability to plot candles with volume profiles, volumes with volume as text, etc.  User must ensure there is enough room vertically and horizontally to properly display elements.  To create more horizontal space, use the mouse scrollbar (or up/down arrow keys on keyboard).  To create more vertical space, use the mouse scrollbar while holding down the shift key.

Double Top (RTX)

The Double Top RTX extension identifies double tops and bottoms and extends the lines until they are taken out by a future bar. User parameters control the look back period (in bars) and the minimum pullback (in ticks) and the minimum spread (in bars) necessary to detect adjacent tops (and bottoms).

Price Time Highlighter (RTX)

The Price Time Highlighter provides highly customizable highlighting of price (range) and bar(s) inside any chart pane with user specified color settings.

Session Prices (RTX)

The Session Prices RTX extension calculates common price levels of interest on up to three different sessions independent of the session used by the chart. These types of calculations have been available in Investor/RT for some time but each line required its own instance of the Session Statistic indicator and perhaps the MPD indicator, making management of many lines difficult.

TradeDots (RTX)

The Trade Dots extension draws dots at each price within each bar. The dots are sized in proportion to the volume traded at that price within the bar. The dots are drawn in two user-specified colors representing positive or negative delta at that price. Many options exist which control the size, scaling, shape, and coloring of each dot. A single dot mode draws one dot or shape on each bar at the VWAP or VPOC of that bar.
