Adding a Chart Button to Change Scaling

Right-click in the chart and choose Add Button. The button setup window will appear. Choose the purpose: Change Scaling.

Yes. Right-click on a button, and choose either Cut or Copy from the popup menu. Both Cut and Copy will copy the button setup to the clipboard. Cut has the additional affect of removing the button from the pane in which it presently resides. Then go to another chart window or to another pane in the same chart window, right-click in the pane and choose "Paste".

First, create a Schedule (Object Manager > Schedule > New). Let's assume in this specific example that we want to open up both a chart and a quotepage. Your schedule should contain two Actions. The first action will be Open a Chart with your specific chart selected in the list. The second will be "Open a Quotepage" with your specific quotepage selected.

Here is an example: assume we want to create a button that will toggle Pivot Point indicator lines on and off. First, add the Pivot Point indicator to your chart with the preferred settings. To create a toggle button for any indicator in your chart, right-click on the indicator and choose "Add Button" from the ensuing pop-up menu. The button will then appear in the chart. To test it, click the button and watch the indicator in question disappear and then return as you click.
