Investor/RT
and DTN Market Access
and
Service, Pricing, and Contact Information DTN Market Access is
a backfill / historical service provided by DTN. DTNMA does not
provide live/streaming data. If you're looking for the real-time
streaming data service provided by DTN, that is DTN
IQFeed. DTNMA is not needed if you're using IQFeed for live data
as the backfill comes with the IQFeed service. Only $15 / Month Q&A: I use Interactive Brokers or Infinity/TransAct or Zen-Fire for live data. Do I need DTN Market Access (DTNMA)? How do I setup my symbols to properly backfill from DTNMA? Answer Q&A: How do I turn on DTNMA? DTNMA can be turned on instantly. From within Investor/RT, go to "File: License Activation" and click on the "Revise License" button. Check the "DTN Market Access" checkbox and then click the "Submit" button. Q&A: I'm using DTNMA and would like to periodically backfill data on a certain list of symbols. How would I accomplish this? (DTNMA Backfill) Answer Q&A: I'm using a brokerage feed (IB, Zen, Infinity, etc) and using DTNMA for backfill. I'm still confused regarding what symbol to use in charts and where to specify the DTN symbol. Can you please clear that up? Answer Q&A: I'm using a brokerage feed with DTNMA. The backfill data I'm getting from DTNMA is not in line with the live data. How can I resolve this? Answer DTN Market Access Historical Data accounts are available directly from Linn Software for $15/mo. This historical market data service can be used in conjunction with both the DTN Satellite, opentick, and Interactive Brokers Real-Time versions of Investor/RT to provide on demand backfill of charts with daily, weekly, monthly, intra-day bar and tick data. You can use DTN Market Access as your primary data source or use it in conjunction with a real-time data source. DTNMA is strongly recommended for both IB and opentick users, as a faster, more reliable, and more robust alternative for historical backfill. For users of the Interactive Brokers or opentick versions of Investor/RT, DTN Market Access historical service can be used as an optional feature to supplement the limited historical backfill available directly from the those feeds. When you have this service enabled your Investor/RT registration code will have both an data feed id and a DTN Market Access id, e.g. U123456/LIN357 (for IB). Investor/RT chart windows automatically access the DTN Market Access servers to backfill daily, weekly, monthly, minute interval, and tick data charts. Intra-day historical data for the preceding 120 calendar days is available from any Investor/RT chart, or from the Data Download window. Q&A: I use Interactive Brokers or Infinity/TransAct with the DTN Market Access for backfill. How do I setup my symbols to properly backfill from DTNMA? Answer
