Some users have reported that when starting Investor/RT for the first time in the morning or when switching layouts, that the windows currently in use (Charts, QuotePages, etc.) position themselves on top of each other stacked on one monitor. This does not happen very often but when it does, it is almost always related to the users video or graphics drivers. Here is a short list of setups that have caused this in the past:
- Using multiple monitors of different brands.
- Multiple monitors of different brands running from one driver that is for just one of the monitors.
- Out of date drivers/graphics cards. Need to check with the manufacturer for the latest driver release.
- If you are using an ATI Radeon graphics card with HydraVision. In the Graphic Card's "Engine Control Center" under the HydraVision tab, go to the Desktop Manager selection and deselect "Enable Dialog Repositioning".
