About using your Rithmic prop firm account as main Investor/RT live data source. Here is what you need to know :
- Investor/RT is supporting all prop firms offering a Rithmic account (as long as the prop firm is not forcing its subscribers to use a specifc third party software, which is generally the case). This means you may use your prop firm account as main live data source (typically using the plug in connection mode) and use Investor/RT trading features to execute orders. Practically speaking, prop firms are either using the “native” Rithmic Paper Trading Gateway servers, or have set up a dedicated rithmic connection point.
- In the Rithmic connection preferences window, on top of the Rithmic connection point dedicated to live money account (usually Rithmic 01), you will find the list of ALL prop firm offering specific connection points and gateway servers. Your prop firm is not showing up on the list : this means your firm is still using the generic "Rithmic Paper Trading" connection point (This is, for example, the case for Blusky, EliteTraderFunding, OneUp Trader or TakeProfitTrader as per July 2025)
- Here is the full list of connection points as per mid July 2025 (with Earn2Trade, YourPropFirm.com (YPF-t) and P.T-t being the most recent additions)
Automatic update of Rithmic connection points and Gateway servers from Investor/RT 15.2 onwards
To be able to share as fast as possible these changes, starting with the 15.2 release, any update will be automatically downloaded from the Linnsoft server whenever you start Investor/RT (ie as this is already the case of RTX indicators, whose update can take place at any time, independently from the timing of any official Investor/RT installer release).
With the development of prop firms, Rithmic is providing us with frequent gateway updates. This may concern either a new connection point, either a new gateway added to a given prop firm.
Note : if you are running of the official 15.1 release (15.1.16, 15.1.23 or 15.1.25) but are not finding your preferred prop firm server on the corresponding Rithmic settting window, please update to the latest 15.2 beta version available here (which includes also other Rithmic related improvements such as the implementation of their newest 13.5 API)
